Job DescriptionThe Solution Selling Specialist provides specialized expertise to support the sales team ahead of the actual sales to drive sales of an optimum solution mix to customers. your core mission is to serve as a trusted advisor, designing and implementing end-to-end solutions that align with customer needs for their transmission networks. By leveraging Nokia's innovative portfolio and collaborating with global teams, you will enhance clients' network performances, ensuring they guarantee best performances with optimized in cost. You will work with customers and development teams to create the best fit offering.

You will also contribute to / defines the technical strategy towards the designated customer(s), optimally adapts towards their vision, requirements, and needs in close collaboration with the respective customer teams and market solution team / head. Make technical presentations to customers focusing on Nokia's value proposition to customer during prospect and negotiation phases. How You Will Contribute And What You Will LearnDesign and implement comprehensive end-to-end transport infrastructures aligned with client policies and guaranteeing product optimizationSupports sales opportunities through broad technical / system level expertise and internal / external business understanding.

Act as a trusted advisor to customers, addressing their needs of transport networks and translating them into effective solutions. Contributes to the creation of customer network evolution plans, and competitively positions our technology strategy, solutions and products to address customer needs. Identifies short and longer-term solutions to address customer needs. Provides expertise on solution architectures in the early phase of opportunity development typically on regional / country level. Addresses complex technical risks (EG solution roadmap availability) with mitigation plans and solutions which generate solid business impact. Contributes to the LoA process from technical perspective.

Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes and services. Actively supports the bid team during offer development phases (EG solution description, Scope of Work (SoW), Bill of Quantity (BoQ), Statement of Compliance (SoC)), and often lead workteams and taskforce activities. Perform transmission network design aiming at generation of technical and commercial offers. Identify customers compelling needs and support them with the goal of effective partnership and, as much as possible, becoming trusted technical advisor.

Lead product and solution promotion phase (workshop, presentation, proactive studies), aiming at increasing customer confidence in Nokia solutions and Nokia team. Keep up-to-date on every new technical solutions in Nokia transmission portfolio as solid support basis of promotion and marketing activity.

Key Skills And ExperienceYou haveKnowledge of the WDM transmission theory and 5+ years of experience in deployment and/or design of high capacity transmission networkAt least Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experienceExpertise in Nokia network design toolProficiency in Analysis, Solution Architecture, and Design of optical networksExperience with MS office applications (Excel, Word, Power Point)Has in-depth organizational and relevant market knowledge and uses understanding on how relevant areas can be integrated to achieve objectives.
