Job Description

Lead Data Analyst Helsinki | Copenhagen | Gdansk | Gdynia We are looking for an experienced Expert Data Analyst who combines strong hands-on skills in data and requirements analysis with a broad understanding of the software development lifecycle. You’ll be asking questions such as:

Are we making solid architectural decisions? Can we improve our tech stack? Are we focusing on the right things?What you’ll be doingContributing to solution design, maintainability, and application architectureDesigning both near real-time data pipelines and traditional analytics pipelinesWorking with product owners and stakeholders to clarify, elicit, and translate requirements into implementation specificationsData mapping, data modelling, solution design, and collaboration with information architectsPerforming quantitative data analysis to understand issues, explain implications, and recommend solutionsCollaborating with developers and engineers, ensuring designs and solutions are clearly documentedBuilding strong relationships and engaging with a wide range of stakeholdersLeading requirements elicitation (functional and non-functional) in a complex environmentDocumenting requirements, including use cases, and driving quality improvementsAccessing complex, distributed datasets and conducting statistical analysisYour experience and background5–7 years’ experience designing data-intensive solutions, data architectures, and integration patternsExtensive hands-on experience with Apache Kafka – designing, building, and optimising real-time data streaming solutionsStrong understanding of requirement gathering and analysis techniquesExpertise in translating business requirements into functional and non-functional specificationsExcellent SQL skills (Oracle, MSSQL, or similar RDBMS)Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design, Event Sourcing, microservices architecture, and clean code principlesFamiliarity with CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, REST, Maven, and JUnitExperience building distributed, highly available, high-throughput applicationsBeneficial skills:

Knowledge of the banking and payments domain (ISO20022, SEPA, SWIFT)Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
