Job Description

Are you a motivated, can-do person looking for a fresh challenge in a friendly, acute hospital environment? We’re a small, welcoming team based in the medical outpatient department, working closely with doctors, receptionists, admin staff, and colleagues from other outpatient areas to deliver high-quality patient care. The team delivers comprehensive support, covering nursing tasks and general operational needs, across a range of clinics to ensure they run smoothly and efficiently.

While the majority of your time will be spent in the outpatient department, there will be occasions when you will be needed to assist on the medical inpatient wards, providing both personal and clinical care. The successful applicant, working 2 days a week, will benefit from an opportunity to contribute to the care of hundreds of patients every week, while working across several different specialties. You’ll be part of a team that values collaboration, flexibility, and a positive attitude. Our shift pattern runs from 08: 00 to 18: 00 on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

On Tuesdays, we offer an evening clinic, finishing at 21: 00. Staff work flexibly across these hours and participate in a rotating late shift to support clinics that run over, or patients awaiting transport. Any extra time worked is given back as time off in lieu. We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Clinical Healthcare Support Worker to join our team.
