Job Description

We’re looking for a Senior Executive Assistant!We are looking for a career PA to join us as a Senior Executive Assistant to join the College as we build on from our ‘Good’ Ofsted inspection grade.  If you are an experienced PA/Executive Assistant looking for a new challenge and a role to develop to be your own, then this is the job for you.  Working with our newly appointed Deputy Principal you will play a pivotal role in providing high-level confidential secretarial support, with some line management responsibilities.

To fulfil this role you need to be able to work with a high degree of autonomy, have strategic and business acumen, the ability to work at pace with excellent organisational skills.  You must also demonstrate a positive attitude and high degree of professionalism.  You will be working in a high pressured environment, often with conflicting priorities to manage.  This is a full time role and we’re looking for someone to join us as we go into the next academic year. What skills are we looking for:

·      Excellent organisational, secretarial  and administration ability·      A multi-tasker – you must be able to work on various projects at the same time·      A creative thinker – you will have the freedom to bring new ideas to the table and run with them·      Resilience, diplomacy and confidentiality – these will be essential traits to succeed in this roleResponsibilities for the role:

·      To be responsible for the efficient and effective support (secretarial and administration) of the Deputy Principal, co-ordinating their activities·      To line manage the Executive Co-ordinator and Executive Assistant, ensuring effective secretarial and administration support is provided to the Vice Principals team·      To co-ordinate and administer Senior Leadership Team and other business critical meetings·      To deputise for the Executive Co-ordinator (Corporate Services) in case of absenceThe Location: The role will be based across all NWSLC campuses, with Nuneaton being the home base.  Hybrid working options may be available.
