Big Chief Hire specialises in the Hire of civil construction and machinery equipment across four states in Australia including, SA, VIC, QLD and NSW. The Hire Controller is responsible for sourcing new business opportunities and maintaining our existing customer relationships. Along with this, the Hire Controller, will be responsible for but not limited to: Handle end to end process of equipment and truck rentals, inducing booking, scheduling and dispatch according to customer requirements. Provide clients on available equipment and offer solutions tailored to their specifications.
Coordinate transport, delivery and collection of rented machinery and vehicles, ensuring time and effective service. Maintain accurate records of equipment, in branch, on hire and at repair/service. Monitor and manager rental agreements/ contracts and other relevant documentation. About YouPrevious experience in a similar role within the truck or machinery hire industry is highly desirable. Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently and courteously with customers and internal teams. Strong focus on accuracy in maintaining records and documentation.
Familiarity with rental management software and MS Office suite. Proven ability to handle challenging situations and find effective solutions.
