Develop comprehensive site layouts including GH orientation, location on the parcel, control room locations, computer rooms, functionality and proper space allocation for the agricultural activities. Access routes, service roadsPond location for irrigation and storm water managementSpace allocation for maintenance areas, surveillance areas of siteArchitect for different buildings depending on the function needed – housing, PV Greenhouse, Special Application buildings, etc. . Architectural Design and Coordination: Design GH structures ensuring beat practices, durability of material, integration of PV systems on the roof without compromising levels for crops.
Design ancillary buildings for the computer room with climate and IT infrastructure, electrical area, storage areas, maintenance area, sanitation blocks, and staff accommodations. Coordinate with client ensuring meeting the needs and conditions required. Coordinate with the solar engineers and the structural engineers to optimize on layout, durability, functionality, and cost. Technical Documentation: Develop complete architectural drawings: floor plans, elevations, sections, details, technical specifications where deemed necessary. Prepare specifications for materials and finishes suited to the functionality and activity of the building. Coordinate with MEP and structural engineers for detailed irrigation. Sustainability and Energy Integration:
Collaborate on thermal mass storage, ventilation, rainwater harvesting, reuse design, on-site energy storage, grid-tie systems layout. Ensure optimal energy use and efficiency, minimal environmental impact, durability, minimal maintenance when possible. What You'll Need: Degree in ArchitectureFamiliarity with agricultural, building projects and with solar PV integration and sustainable design practices. Strong coordination and, multidisciplinary communication skillsProficiency in BIM, CAD2D, photoshop, sketchup, MS office, and visualization tools.
