Solar PV system designDesign and size all components of the PV systemPV module layout and string configurationsInverter selection and placementDC and AC combiner boxesCable routing, sizing, and trenching plansPlacement of all electrical componentsPerform load flow, fault current, and voltage drop analysesOptimize system efficiencyElectrical Distribution NetworkDesign the low-voltage and medium voltage distribution systemsMain switchgear, panels, transformers, and MV substations as neededInterconnection to utility grid and net metering setupLoad balancing between greenhouses, control rooms, and irrigation systemsPrepare SLDs, riser diagrams, and load schedulesControl Rooms and Agricultural AutomationProvide electrical design and power supply for the computer roomBackup power or UPS systems for critical control equipmentCoordinate with IT and control systems engineers for interface requirements.

Civil engineers (for trenching and equipment foundations)Structural engineers (for PV mounting systems and inverter platforms)Agricultural engineers (for powering irrigation and automation systems)What You'll Need: Degree in Bachelor of electrical engineeringExperience in solar PV systems, power distribution, and industrial/agricultural facilitiesSoftware proficiency in AutoCAD, Dialux, PVsyst, or equivalent toolsKnowledge of renewable energy, electrical safetyExpertise in load calculation, cable sizing, protection systems, and voltage drop analysisAbility to size and design grid-connected or hybrid systems (PV)Understanding of synchronization with grid, islanding, load prioritization, battery back up systems, and smart energy management.
Knowledge in smart farming technology is a plusStrong coordination, site supervision, and documentation skills. Strong interdisciplinary coordination with civil, structural, mechanical, and agricultural teamsClean technical documentation and reporting skills
