The successful applicant will get great opportunity to join our respiratory department with supportive and friendly consultants and other staffs. They will get exposure to different respiratory cases in inpatient and outpatient settings. We have MDT meetings for lung cancer and interstitial lung diseases.
There is immense opportunity for interventional pulmonology e. g. pleural aspiration, ICC drainage, invasive pleural procedure e. g. PleurX, bronchoscopy, EBUS, radial EBUS, cryobiopsy, transbronchial biopsy. What You'll Be DoingTo provide effective medical services to patients under supervision, while developing expertise in Respiratory Medicine, in a complex clinical environment. The Department of Respiratory Medicine provides a broad and coordinated range of services for a predominantly local population of South Western Sydney area. MBBS or equivalent, currently registered with the Medical Board of Australia. Minimum 3 years postgraduate hospital experience including knowledge in the field of Respiratory Medicine. Demonstrated commitment to training in Respiratory Medicine and previous experience in Medicine. Demonstrated ability to work independently within a supervised clinical environment using excellent clinical skills, judgement and expertise.
Good time management and organisational skills, and advanced computing skills. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and demonstrated ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams. Evidence of continued professional development and commitment to self education as well as a willingness to teach and support junior medical staff. Need more information?
