The Radiology Trainee will work across both campuses of Blacktown Mount Druitt Hospitals, and may be required to partake in some afterhours and weekend work. RequiredThe Radiology Unaccredited Trainee works closely with all members of staff, is required to comply with the RANZCR curriculum and must:
Have the ability to exercise discretion, sensitivity and maintain confidentiality. Be able to work co-operatively as a member and contributor in a complex multi-disciplinary team, including pro-active participation in team meetings and divisional quality activities. Be able to provide and participate in performance monitoring. MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia in an appropriate registration category. Eligible to be registered with Royal Australasian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) to sit the part 2 examination without the requirement for a training log book.
Demonstrated exceptional written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with patients, family members and others members of the health care team. Demonstrated proficiency in clinical reasoning, decision-making and judgementDemonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team with an understanding of the roles of the doctor and other members of the healthcare team. Demonstrated ability to work independently within a complex health care setting with proven time management and problem solving skills. Demonstrated outstanding organisational and time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment.
