Trainees will either be registered with, or in the process of applying to, the College of Intensive Care Medicine (CICM).
The position is suitable for trainees at all stages of their training and based on clinical experience and level of training, the ICU will then determine the most appropriate clinical role to align with the units’ operational requirements and trainees’ requirements. The purpose of the position is to provide effective clinical management and excellent care to critically ill patients under the supervision of an Intensive Care Specialist.
Trainees will be expected to develop expertise in medical practice in a complex clinical environment, and to participate in the core training program of the College of Intensive Care Medicine.
