View All Open Positions Open PositionNurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program (NATCEP) Instructor Date Posted October 10, 2025 Now Hiring: Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program (NATCEP) InstructorLocation: Dauphin County Technical School, Harrisburg, PAApplication Deadline: Open until filledThe LPN or RN instructor’s obligations are to insure the nurse aide training program curriculum is current and precise, and to teach the total program hours (121) to include classroom theory & labs at Dauphin County Technical School and assist students during clinicals at a local, long-term care facility. Some additional hours include participant orientations and testing.Responsibilities Establishing the goals and objectives of the Nurse Aide Training Program to meet federal (ORBA) and state (Act 14) guidelines Teaching and reviewing the curriculum to revise as needed to maintain currency and consistency with other program staff Providing guidance and support to the nurse aide training staff where applicable to safeguard goals, objectives and learning outcomes are being met Assisting with participant issues, concerns, and/or grievances where applicable Providing remedial assistance to participants as needed Participating in On-Site Review process conducted by the Pennsylvania Department of EducationQualificationsCurrent LPN or RN license in Pennsylvania without limitations. Two years of experience as an LPN or RN with at least one year in long-term care. A Train The Educator (TTE) Certificate of Completion (can be obtained after hiring) as well as the CHRI acceptable in line with P.L. 169 of 1997. Prior teaching/training experience not necessary but preferred.Hours: Part Time daytime (9AM – 1PM) or evenings (5PM – 9PM), clinical hours may vary.
