Nurse Educator – Lead, Educate and Elevate Nursing Practice at Beaudesert Hospital Drive excellence, mentor others, and lead with purpose in a supportive teamYour New RoleAs the Nurse Educator, you'll lead education and development initiatives that empower nurses and midwives across Beaudesert Hospital's rural health services. You'll shape the learning culture, support workforce capability, and ensure the delivery of safe, evidence-informed care. You will:Design, implement and evaluate nursing education and training programs across five rural clinical areas.Lead initiatives that strengthen clinical capability, workforce engagement, and quality of care.Provide expert advice on professional development, clinical governance, and evidence-based practice.Foster a culture of learning, research, and continuous improvement aligned with Metro South Health's values and strategic goals. About you: EducationYou're an experienced and motivated nurse leader who thrives on developing others and improving clinical outcomes through education. You're collaborative, innovative, and committed to excellence in rural healthcare delivery. You have:AHPRA registration and extensive experience in clinical education or workforce development.Demonstrated ability to design, deliver and evaluate education programs that build clinical capability.Proven leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire, mentor and engage teams.Commitment to evidence-based practice, professional growth, and person-centred care.Postgraduate qualifications in education or a related field (or working towards) are highly desirable. Beaudesert Hospital: Beaudesert Hospital is a rural hospital in Queensland's Scenic Rim region with a rich history of healthcare that spans more than 120 years. We provide rural healthcare across a large geographic area south-west of Logan and the Gold Coast with patients who see us coming from Undullah in the north-west right down to the southern Queensland border. We offer services to adults and children, including 24-hour emergency care, maternity, mental, dental, allied health and outpatient clinics, minor surgery and palliative care.We're a smaller hospital that offer hands-on training and support to our staff and students. As a secondary teaching hospital, we also have strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
