Single-Trained Registered Midwife (Nursing)Location: Abuja, NigeriaSalary Range: ₦80,000 – ₦90,000 monthlyEmployment Type: Full-TimeAbout the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Single-Trained Registered Midwife (Nursing) to join our healthcare team in Abuja. The ideal candidate will provide professional maternal, neonatal, and general nursing care to patients while ensuring the highest standards of practice, safety, and patient satisfaction.Key Responsibilities • Conduct thorough antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care for mothers and newborns. • Monitor and assess the condition of mothers and babies during labour and delivery. • Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately and promptly. • Provide health education and counselling to patients on family planning, child care, and maternal wellness. • Maintain accurate medical and nursing records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with facility policies. • Assist in emergency obstetric care, including identifying complications and ensuring timely referrals. • Support general nursing duties such as wound care, injections, and vital signs monitoring. • Participate in infection prevention, sanitation, and overall facility health standards compliance. • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic and efficient patient care.Qualifications & Requirements • Must be a Registered Midwife (RM) recognized by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN). • Minimum of 1–3 years of clinical experience in a hospital or maternity facility. • Proven competence in labour management, neonatal care, and maternal health education. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a caring and empathetic disposition. • Ability to work effectively under pressure and within a multidisciplinary team.*Employee Benefits* • Annual Leave entitlement. • Free Basic Healthcare services.*Work Schedule* • Full-time position (shift-based where necessary).
