At CannElevate, people come first, always.Role DescriptionCannElevate is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our growing virtual care team on a contract basis. This fully remote role involves conducting video-based patient consultations, assessing medical histories, and developing personalized treatment plans within an evidence-based, patient-first framework.The ideal candidate will have experience in—or a strong interest in—alternative medicine prescribing. You’ll help educate patients on their treatment options, collaborate with our clinical team, and uphold our commitment to safe, ethical, and high-quality care.ResponsibilitiesConduct virtual patient consultations with professionalism and empathyReview medical histories and develop individualized treatment plansPrescribe medications in alignment with clinical guidelines and regulatory requirementsEducate patients on treatment pathways, expectations, and ongoing careMaintain accurate notes within telehealth and EMR systemsCollaborate with our healthcare team to ensure seamless patient supportUphold CannElevate’s values of compassionate, evidence-based careQualificationsActive Nurse Practitioner license and board certification in a relevant specialtyStrong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planningExperience in alternative medicine prescribing or a strong desire to enter the fieldExcellent communication skills and ability to build patient rapport virtuallyComfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic medical record systemsAbility to work autonomously and manage remote clinical workflowsPrior telehealth, general practice, chronic care, or healthcare innovation experience is an advantageFlexibility to accommodate patient appointments across time zones
