KÅrero mÅ te tÅ«ranga - About the roleThis is a key role supporting our consumer-facing mobile app. A tool thousands of Kiwis use every day to manage deliveries, track parcels, and interact with NZ Post.
We're continuing to create and enhance NZ Post's consumer mobile app capabilities to enable effortless digital experiences for receivers and senders. Our focus is on making it easier for customers to self-serve on the go and tailoring the experience to better meet their individual needs. You'll work closely with stakeholders, developers, a tester, and our in-house design and tech leads to plan, prioritise, and deliver work across the product. This is a blended role, you'll wear the Product Owner hat, but your BA skills will be just as important.
You'll also help manage vendor relationships, budgets, and business case creation. You'll achieve this throughOwning and refining the product backlog for parcel notificationsWorking closely with the Mobile App team to align notification strategiesDefining, documenting and validating scan events that trigger messagingSupporting the redesign of legacy systems into modern notification frameworksEnsuring high standards of compliance, reliability, and auditabilityCollaborating with internal stakeholders and external contractorsChampioning agile ways of working within a lean, delivery-focused squadMÅu - About YouYou might be a Product Owner with a knack for analysis, or a Business Analyst ready to step into product leadership.
Either way, you're detail-driven, collaborative, and excited to improve customer experience at scale. You'll be confident managing digital capabilities across various digital channels and have the ability to lead a product roadmap while balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders. As an innovative thinker you challenge the status quo and work collaboratively to deliver creative, engaging and intuitive digital solutions.
