Expansive lawns and towering coconut palms provide an enchanting backdrop to the pristine beaches of Paradise Island.The Ocean Club offers a rich roster of activities including water sports such as snorkeling, sailing and wind-surfing along with land-based activities including world-class golf and tennis plus a relaxing spa.The Role of the OC Communication Co-OrdinatorThe role of the OC Communication Co-Ordinator is to manage and maintain the communication center database with accuracy and detail, expediting daily guest concerns, by ensuring the integrity of all information being placed in the database, and seeing that they are resolved in a timely and efficient manner, through personalized, professional, and quality service. As the voice of the hotel the Telecommunications Operator ensures that all communication channels operate flawlessly, including the phone and paging system.Key FunctionsHandle all telephone calls using proper telephone standardTake responsibility for logging and resolving all guests complaints immediatelyEnsures the timely and efficient processing of each guest request through the entire processEnsures that calls are serviced in an efficient and timely mannerRead Communications Center log from the previous shift and follow up on all necessary requestsResponsible for prioritizing of all calls. All safety related calls are to be given priority considerationEnsures all calls are routed to the proper person that is assigned to handle calls that dayResponsible for the generation and production of the Communications Co-coordinator reports, ability to spot trends and report those trends to managementKeeps supervisor updated on troubles with the systemIs able to manage and run the floor in the absence of direct supervision for the shiftRecognizes and identifies potential areas where existing policies and procedures change, or where new ones need to be developed, especially regarding future business expansionCoordinate room changes with Front Office and complete all changes in the systemMaintain a sound knowledge of the companyâs facilities and related servicesPreferred Qualifications And SkillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong computer skillsSystem knowledge of Opera and HotSOSThis is an exciting time to join The Ocean Club, a Four Seasons Resort.Applicants that are interested in applying, please note that the position is based on The Ocean Club, A Four Seasons Resort Property located in The Bahamas and is available to those individuals who possess a legal ability to work in The Bahamas without sponsorship.
