We are seeking a highly competent Investment Manager that is reliable, effective, and a great team player within a collaborative business. Reporting to the Senior Investment Manager and the Senior Leadership Team, you will be a key member of the team, with huge scope for career progression. You will have a strong academic background (qualified accountant up to 3 years PQE) and have a number of years’experience in a fast-paced work environment with a demonstrable track record of achievement. Your responsibilities include: Lead Investment Manager covering fifteen(24) assets within the Occu portfolio. Design and implementation of business planson new asset acquisitions as well as ongoing annual business plan reviews for existing assets in order to continually maximise performance. Oversee monthly, quarterly, and yearly client reporting. Financial reporting packs will be provided by the finance function but are reviewed and approved by the Investment Manager. Additional client reporting – ownership of bespoke reportingto client(s) as required. Much of this process is in place standardised but can be improved by candidate input and suggestions.
Assisting in the digital automation of performance reports alongside other team members and divisions. Ability to meeting reportingdeadlines – the candidate requiresstrong attention to detail whilst being highly organised. Point of contact and investor relations with Client Fund Managers, Portfolio Managers and Asset Managers as well as various Investment Committee members. Developing and nurturing these relationships. Engaging with the wider Occu team to provide all team members a rounded view of the deal analysisfunction and its impact on the growth of the operating platform.
Creation and presentation of reports such as investment strategy reports, market analysis, portfolio reviews and investment ideas. Support senior management in pitching and presenting Occu for new mandatesOversee performance on new leased up assets taking a leading role working with leasing teams to maximize valueThere is a wide variety of workstreams to support and manage on with ample opportunities to prove and progress your career. Background and Experience: Qualified Chartered Accountant with up to 3 years PQENaturally analytical and with strong numeric abilities with strong attention to detail while being organized.
Proven experience in cashflow modelling and general high competence in excel is expectedData tools experience would be an advantageComfortable with analyzing financial reports and monthly packs to understand drivers of growth and cost leakagesExperience in Real Estatenot necessary but the candidatemust display a keen interest in the sector and wider financial markets. Outgoing charismatic personality that will be engagingwith clients and other team members. Ambitious but humble – low key and privateindividual who can be trusted with sensitive information.
