The role will support the implementation of the hospital's OHS Management System, partnering with teams to identify and manage risks, investigate incidents, and develop effective controlsKey AccountabilitiesPromote and model safe work practices, wellbeing, and a psychologically safe environment.Provide clear OHS education and training to staff, ensuring legal and practical relevance.Collaborate with teams to identify hazards, assess risks, and implement effective controls.Maintain accurate records, support incident investigations, and share key learnings.Work within scope, seek feedback, engage in ongoing learning, and respect RMH policies.Key Selection CriteriaStrong knowledge of OHS legislation and at least 3 years' experience in complex settingsProven ability to influence stakeholders and drive cultural and safety improvementsSkilled in risk analysis, reporting, and using incident/hazard management systemsExcellent communication, organisation, and training delivery skills across diverse audiencesDesirable: Safety project management, experience in healthcare, psychosocial safety, change management, or auditingBenefits Of Working At RMH5 weeks annual leave, monthly ADOs and salary packing options!Discounted health facility access with Fitness Passport!Career growth and learning development opportunitiesWe live by our values - People First, Lead with Kindness and Excellence Together!Click here to review the full position descriptionAll appointments are made subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Record Check.
