Asiapro Multi-Purpose Cooperative is looking for an experienced Occupational Safety and Health Officer to drive the implementation of our OSH programs, policies, and compliance initiatives. This role ensures that all workplaces are safe, healthy, and aligned with Cooperative standards and government regulations, supporting the overall well-being of our member-owners.Asiapro Multi-Purpose Cooperative is a pioneering and leading worker’s cooperative in the Philippines with over 20 years of providing access to jobs with government and regular-status benefits, and additional financial privileges for our member-owners. Sa Asiapro, Bawat isa mahalaga!Here are some privileges you will get in the Cooperative:Savings and Loans ProgramIn-house Sickness ReimbursementTraining ProgramsInterest on Share Capital and Patronage RefundKey ResponsibilitiesAs an Occupational Safety and Health Officer, you will ensure a safe and compliant work environment by:Leading the implementation and enforcement of OSH standards, policies, and Cooperative-wide health and safety programs.Conducting regular site/store/plant inspections to ensure compliance and identify opportunities to improve safety practices.Performing risk assessments, hazard identification, and root-cause analysis to strengthen workplace safety protocols.Driving health, safety, and mental wellness awareness initiatives for all business platforms.Ensuring compliance with DOLE, DOH, LGU Health Department, and other regulatory requirements, including timely submission of safety reports.Supervising and coaching OSH personnel by monitoring performance, identifying competency gaps, and supporting their development plans.Collaborating with leaders across the Cooperative to align industry-specific safety standards with operational needs.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.In-depth knowledge of OSH Law, DOLE regulations, ISO standards, and relevant health and safety protocols.Experience in OSH program implementation, compliance monitoring, and risk assessment.Strong skills in data analysis, reporting, investigation, and problem-solving.Effective communicator with strong leadership, emotional intelligence, and the ability to develop and motivate team members.Critical thinker with strong business insight and decision-making abilities.
