Want to join us?About the Role:Join a leading supply chain team driving global import excellence and operational innovation.Are you an experienced logistics professional with a passion for optimising global ocean freight operations? We’re seeking an Ocean Freight & Inbound Logistics Manager to lead our inbound logistics function, overseeing the full journey from supplier to warehouse.In this pivotal role, you’ll manage global freight contracts, drive cost efficiencies, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead a high-performing team delivering excellence across all trade lanes.Responsibilities include:Lead and optimise end-to-end inbound ocean freight operations, from supplier purchase orders to final warehouse delivery and container dehire.Manage annual freight tenders, negotiate commercial agreements, and drive supplier performance through regular business reviews.Build strong partnerships with freight forwarders, wharf cartage providers, and customs authorities.Oversee compliance with customs, biosecurity, and international trade regulations, including the Trusted Trader Program.Identify opportunities for cost savings, lead time reduction, and improved container utilisation.Develop KPI dashboards, monitor LSP performance, and lead root-cause analysis for service exceptions.Mentor and develop your team, fostering a collaborative, compliant, and results-driven culture.About you:You’re a strategic and analytical logistics leader who thrives on solving complex challenges and delivering measurable results.
