🌍 RTM Customer Service Representative (Import)📍 Rotterdam, Netherlands | 🕓 Full-timeJoin our dynamic logistics team and take ownership of end-to-end import operations for our valued customers. As an RTM Customer Service Representative, you’ll be the key point of contact ensuring smooth shipment handling, timely communication, and accurate documentation across global trade flows.🚢 Your Core Responsibilities – Import OperationsManage and monitor the full import flow from booking to delivery.Check and confirm bookings with customers and issue carrier instructions.Verify pre-alerts and vessel arrivals; send arrival notices and shipment updates.Ensure accurate HBL/MBL release and customs clearance.Coordinate trucking orders and collect PODs after delivery.Communicate proactively on any shipment exceptions.Maintain timely milestone updates and PO/vendor payment records.Issue invoices promptly and accurately in line with company standards.✈️ Back-Up Support – Export OperationsHandle supplier and carrier bookings according to schedules and rates.Coordinate export documentation, customs clearance, and pre-carriage.Prepare HBL/MBL drafts and final BLs after vessel sailing.Complete AP/AR billing and share pre-alerts with customers and overseas stations.Monitor milestones and report exceptions effectively.⚓ Back-Up Support – Cross-Trade OperationsTrack shipment milestones between origin and destination offices.Communicate schedules, changes, and exceptions to customers.Finalize AP/AR billing according to company procedures.📑 Additional ResponsibilitiesMaintain complete and compliant files (digital & hard copy).Collaborate with sales to create clear SOPs for new customer setups.Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and internal teams.Support sales with rate quotations and prepare management reports.Conduct monthly file checks to ensure accurate reporting and closing figures.💡 What You BringStrong knowledge of import/export logistics and documentation.Detail-oriented mindset with excellent time management skills.Clear and professional communication in English (Dutch is a plus).Hands-on experience with freight forwarding systems and milestone tracking.Team player attitude and a proactive, customer-first approach.🚀 Why Join UsBe part of a collaborative international logistics network.Work in a fast-moving environment with opportunities for growth.Enjoy a supportive culture that values initiative, accuracy, and teamworkWe offer a competitive package that includes health insurance allowance, performance bonus, and an international working environment.
