The RoleWe are currently recruiting an experienced Coating Applicator/Sandblaster to work out of our Fort Saskatchewan Project Site. *This role will report directly to the Coating Manger. Compensation/Benefits$30 - $45 per hour based on experience - *Testing may be requested based on desired wage expectations Overtime after 8 hours per day10% vacation and stat pay on all regular hours workedBenefits 50/50 split after 90 days with the companyResponsibilities and Duties8 to 12 hours per day, work on weekends as required. 7:

00 am start timeBlasting a variety of surfaces including, pipe, structural, and equipmentThe safe operation and maintenance of equipment while adhering to the companies Safe Work Practices and PPE guidelinesCoating application of piping, structural, and equipment utilizing brush and roll, conventional, airless, plural component spray methodsQualifications/Desired SkillsJourneyman Painter ticket considered an assetPlural pump & spray experience requiredFacility sandblasting experience requiredMinimum of 3 years experience working as an industrial painter Possess a basic understanding of:

mobile blasting equipment, application equipment for above and below grade coating systemsPrevious blasting and spray application experienceMust be able to speak and read EnglishMust be able to work with a high PSI hose. No cabinet blasters. Experience with epoxies, urethanes and groutsHas reliable transportation Must have a class 5 driver’s license with a good driving abstractMay be required to pass a drug and alcohol test for certain project based workPrefer applicants to have Denso, SPC, Stopaq, NACE/AMPP coating ticketsExtra consideration given to those that have the following tickets:
