About The RoleWe are currently recruiting for Equipment Operators (Excavators / Dozers) to join our team on upcoming civil earthworks projects. The ideal candidates will be experienced operators with a proven ability to perform excavation, grading, and earthmoving and finish grade work in a safe, productive, and precise manner. Work will include bulk earthworks, site grading, and pad construction on multiple sites.

Duties/ResponsibilitiesOperate excavators and/or dozers safely and efficiently in heavy civil environmentsPerform excavation, grading, trenching, finish grading, and earthmoving tasks to specificationsConduct daily equipment inspections and perform basic maintenanceFollow site plans, grade stakes, and supervisor instructions to meet project tolerancesWork collaboratively with ground crews and other operators to ensure safe and productive site operationsAssist with general labour or other equipment operation when requiredAdhere to company safety policies, procedures, and industry best practicedEducation/Skills/QualificationsMinimum 3 years of heavy equipment operation experience (civil earthworks preferred)Proven experience as a finish grade operator with the ability to achieve precise tolerancesStrong knowledge of excavation, grading, compaction, and earthmoving practicesAbility to read and follow construction drawings, grade stakes, and GPS systems (asset)Safety certifications:
CSTS, WHMIS, First Aid, H2S Alive, Ground Disturbance 201 (or willingness to obtain)Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality workmanshipValid driver’s license, clean driver’s abstract, and ability to pass pre-employment requirementsMust be able to work legally in CanadaOCL Group Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
