Working on an 8 days on / 6 days off rotation, you will oversee the successful planning, execution, and completion of mechanical scopes, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.

We have blue collar roots, so our casual environment and commitment to our hard-working men and women in the trades is key to our successDuties/ResponsibilitiesCommunicate with the team through daily safety meetingsSupervise crew and subcontractor tasksMaintain regular contact with client representatives on contract issues, schedule, delivery and technical issuesDrive cost-effective strategies in the fieldHire and assign construction workers to each project scopeParticipate in site safety toolbox meetingsCoordinate construction services and activitiesMaintain construction schedule and make changes as necessary to ensure milestones are metAssist with estimates for project scope of work, including labor, supplies, materials and other costsExecute work in line with federal, provincial and client and company quality standards, codes and safety regulationsComplete and manage daily reports, schedules and manpowerDocument project issues and delays Be the direct liaison between OCL-NF and our clientEducation/Skills/Qualifications15+ years of mechanical construction experience in oil & gas, mining, or heavy industrial projects, with at least 5 years in a superintendent roleStrong leadership skills with a proven track record of mentoring and team developmentAbility to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and schedulesProficient with Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar) and tools such as Bluebeam and ExcelExcellent communication and problem-solving abilitiesValid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment testingMust have valid safety tickets Must be legally eligible to work in CanadaOCL Group Inc.
