This is a camp based position working on a 8 days on / 6 days off rotationThe Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that all work performed meets OCL-NF’s quality standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements.

You will play a key role in inspecting materials, processes, and completed work to verify compliance and maintain our commitment to delivering safe, high-quality results. We have blue collar roots, so our casual environment and commitment to our hard-working men and women in the trades is key to our successDuties/ResponsibilitiesDevelop discipline ITPs and ensure stages are followedMaintaining project quality records, logs and turnover documentsMaterial receiving, inspection and verificationAppropriate planning of work to ensure project requirements are being metSub contractor quality management, status oversight and review of documentsRead civil and piping drawings, GA's and PID'sCoordinate, monitor and review NDT and reportingMonitoring of welding, weld mapping and visual inspectionsAble to construct hydrotest packs and complete final walkdownsComplete redline and as-built drawings integrated with RFIs & MoC directivesCivil and Structural inspections and reportingEducation/Skills/QualificationsCWB Level 2 certification with 5+ years experience in oil & gas, mining, or heavy industrial projectsA strong mechanical background is requiredStrong time management skills and ability to handle a multitude of concurrent tasksStrong computer skills, especially in the use of Microsoft and Google Suite of products.
