Job DescriptionPurpose of the role To manage the day-to-day administration of a varied portfolio of simple client structures and to maintain and develop a wide knowledge and understanding of corporate administration generally, to include anti-money laundering, compliance and relevant legislation. The post holder will have demonstrated an enthusiasm to develop their understanding of company administration, offshore products, services, legislation, and regulatory issues. They will be seeking to expand their knowledge by means of formal study and on-the-job learning. Main Responsibilities:

Achieving operational excellence in the delivery of client services, managing high client expectations and delivering consistent results, ensuring established processes and procedures are followed. Responding to requests from duly authorized client representatives for changes to the constitutional documents for each company, e. g. , increases and reductions of share capital, changes of name, changes of Directors and Shareholders, amendments to the Bye‑Laws and/or the Memorandum of Association/Incorporating Act, and ensuring corporate records are current, in compliance and in good order.

Assisting with preparing applications for incorporating companies and partnerships including the opening of bank accounts and the execution of related documentation relevant documents. Ensuring that annual company, business, filing, and license fees payable in accordance with the relevant legislation are collected and remitted to the regulatory authorities. Convening and attending Board and Shareholders’ meetings and ensure where relevant that related proxies are current. Advising on secretarial matters, taking minutes, drafting and circulating such minutes to the appropriate parties. Maintaining the Register of Members, Register of Directors and Officers and Minute book for each company.

Delivering services to client satisfaction within compliance and regulatory requirements, ensuring data accuracy and completeness. Building your understanding of how to balance regulatory compliance with client needs. Building knowledge of the services Ocorian provides and supporting the achievement of our business goals through involvement in corporate initiativesThis role will continue to build a strong foundational knowledge of corporate administration, and the core skills required to operate in our jurisdictions. QualificationsKnowledge, Skills and Experience: Educated to a secondary level with maths and English as standard. 2 years of corporate administration experience within a similar role. Studying towards relevant professional qualification (e.

g. membership of the Chartered Governance Institute, ACCA, AGI, CIB, STEP or equivalent. ) is preferred. A working knowledge of the relevant statutory regulations related to the administration of companies in the jurisdiction. Good organisational and time management skills, applied to a basic knowledge of the mechanics of company administration. An ability to take responsibility for the completion of work within the engagement while staying alert to potential issues that need disclosing to the Associate Director. Professional manner, demonstrating good interpersonal skills and the ability to respond to clients’ needs.

Also, an ability to communicate efficiently and in a manner suitable to the client or intermediary being addressed. Diligence and care in all aspects of the job, and the willingness to check understanding of delegated tasks through questioning. An interest in financial services, and a genuine desire to learn how these can be used as tools for adding value to a client’s business. A positive approach, demonstrating enthusiasm and the desire to take on responsibility. A willingness to get involved in team issues and events. To supports the Company’s goals and demonstrate the confidence to contribute ideas.

To manage own workloads and priorities and to work to specific deadlines as agreed to with the team member responsible for the client. To produce work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. To ensure the achievement of a minimum of 25 hours per year relevant CPD.
