This role partners closely with the engineering team and leadership to identify and attract exceptional candidates. Our recruiting team supports mechanical, electrical, power electronics firmware, software development, and battery engineering teams . We are looking for someone with a strong technical aptitude, exceptional verbal communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced start up environment. As the workspace owner, you'll ensure the office runs smoothly, stays stocked, and feels welcoming to employees and our visitors. You are the go-to person for everything on-site, from supplies and events to on-boarding support and space management. This person will be a multi-tasking ninja! Key Responsibilities:Support with scheduling meetings, reserving room bookings and welcoming guests into the officeAnswer office phone, handle administrative emails and maintain general purchase requests.Take ownership of company food orders, grocery restocks, general office purchases and office supply management.Organize and coordinate monthly company cultural initiatives and socials, weekly lunch/dinners, and other activities to foster a positive work culture. Prepare meeting rooms for regular company meetings, including obtaining needed reports for leadership teams. Support on-boarding and off-boarding logistics—welcome desk setup, new hire documentation, laptop access, new hire orientation, and other related tasks. Onboard employees into the company benefits plan and be equipped to answer related questions. Help implement office guidelines and policies, as directed by Human Resources or Co-founders.Provide general IT support for computer and laptop setups. Assist in travel bookings and accommodations for business travel. Assist with basic bookkeeping, such as processing invoices, tracking expenses, and managing office budget.Take ownership of office maintenance procedures - i.e. coordinating with cleaners, waste collection groups and utility providers to ensure seamless office operations.Maintain a clean and organized office environment and oversee office inventory, including computers, desks, and workstations. Work with the marketing team to arrange company merchandise designs and orders, holiday gift baskets, and more. Provide administrative support for special events and projects by other departments as necessary.You are the office cheerleader!
