Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join their team. The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy, adaptable, and have a strong sense of initiative to ensure day-to-day administrative functions are handled seamlessly.Fully in office - ASAP startKey ResponsibilitiesManage daily office operations, including correspondence, scheduling, and supply inventory.Greet and assist visitors, answer phone calls, and handle general inquiries in a professional manner.Maintain and organize office records, files, and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.Support management with meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and calendar management.Process invoices, expense reports, and basic bookkeeping tasks as required.Assist in preparing documents, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office Suite.Liaise with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth workflow and communication.Coordinate office maintenance, equipment servicing, and IT support requests.Support HR-related functions such as onboarding new employees, maintaining personnel files, and updating attendance records.Contribute to a positive and collaborative office culture by assisting with staff events, meetings, and communications.Qualifications & SkillsPost-secondary education in Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent experience).2–5 years of experience in an administrative or office support role.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and comfortable learning new software.Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and friendly demeanor.High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working independently or within a team.Experience handling financial or HR administrative tasks is an asset.At Aplin — together with our brands CompuStaff and Impact Recruitment — we connect great people with great organizations across North America.
