Come join our team!The Office Manager handles day-to-day office operations with a focus on efficiency and time management.Responsibilities of Position:Manage work order flow from inception to closureCollect analytical data and provide reports to upper managementWork in conjunction with all internal and external customers to ensure company standards are metManage the processes of purchase orders, cycle counts, shipping and receiving, supplies, equipment and invoicing inside of SAP softwareOrganize and schedule location meetings and eventsCommunicate with IT department to ensure that divisional needs are metMaintain contracts and pricing with vendors and service providers to ensure that all items are invoices and paid in timely mannerOversee systems that maintain the organization of company documentsParticipate in regular P&L meeting to ensure that budgets are metManage the process of dispatching work orders and installations to techniciansManage office personnel in working with third party service requestsManage communication processes with internal/external customers in conjunction with quoting systemPerform other duties as assignedSupervisory Responsibility:This position will manage 1-10 employeesThis position will not oversee and direct other managersSkills & Abilities Needed for Position:Excellent verbal & written communication skillsHighly organized and detail oriented with the ability to complete multiple projectsStrong organizational and planning skillsExcellent customer service and data entry skillsAbility to work well under pressure, be flexible and cooperativeMust work efficiently and effectively, both independently and as a teamAbility to meet deadlines and complete assignments within stated time framesAbility to present and always maintain a professional appearance and demeanorComputer proficiency in Windows and Microsoft applications (Word & Excel) and SAPAbility to maintain a positive work atmosphere by performing and communicating in a manner that promotes strong relationshipsExperience & Knowledge Needed for Position:1-2 years office, clerical, or operations experience required1-2 years management/leadership experience preferredKnowledge of waste industry is preferredPhysical Requirements in a Regular Workday:Frequently lifting/carrying a max of 10 lbsOccasionally lifting/carrying a max of 35 lbsRarely lifting/carrying a max of 50 lbsOccasionally pushing/pulling a max of 50 lbsRarely working outside in changing temperatures, wet/humid conditionsContinuously working in areas of dust, odors, mist, gases, and other airborne matterOccasionally stooping/kneeling/crouching/crawlingRarely climbing and/or balancingContinuously sitting/standingFrequently walkingAdditional Working Conditions/Aspects:Exposure to residential and commercial wasteAbility to travel between offices, as requiredAbility to work flexible hours; expected to work nights and weekends as neededAbility to work overtime, weekends, and/or holidaysLegally eligible to work in the United StatesValid driver’s license (if applicable)Must successfully complete pre-employment testingMust be able to read and speak the English languageThis job description is intended to describe the general nature, complexity, and level of work to be performed by employees assigned to this position and is not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties, and/or skills required.
