We’re helping them grow their Sofia-based team with a Quantitative Researcher who will contribute to the design and development of cutting-edge alpha strategies. Your RoleAs a Quantitative Researcher, you will be responsible for researching, designing, and validating systematic strategies using large-scale financial and alternative data. You’ll test hypotheses, identify inefficiencies, and translate your insights into alpha-generating models. The role requires both rigorous analytical thinking and a practical approach to implementation.

Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and test short to medium-term trading strategies based on statistical or machine learning methods;Analyze financial markets and identify sources of persistent alpha;Design backtesting frameworks and assess performance robustness;Collaborate with engineers to implement models in a live trading environment;Work autonomously while contributing to a high-trust, high-performance culture.

Your BackgroundStrong academic background in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or related quantitative discipline;Hands-on experience with data analysis, modeling, and hypothesis testing;Proficiency in Python or another language commonly used in quantitative research;Experience with time-series analysis, machine learning, or signal processing is a plus;Fluent in English and Bulgarian;A curious mindset, strong attention to detail, and the drive to challenge conventional assumptions.
