Adhere strictly to the formats, flow charts, procedures and forms dictated by the Head Office Commercial team.2. Assist the Commercial Manager in all tasks required in relation to Purchase Orders and Subcontracts issued by relevant departments to Vendors for the Project.3. Ensure preparation and submission by the QS team at Site of Contractor’s monthly statements (Interim Payment Certificates).4. Comply with each of Vendors Subcontract / PO terms as prescribed therein.5. Prepare Variation Claims in Coordination with QS teams at Site, while ensuring that each member of the QS team is running their section to the highest professional standards, that all information is current, and that all team members are receiving the appropriate information to fulfil their respective tasks.6. Assist the Commercial Manager in the coordination with Procurement department (as needed) to enable the submission of cost claims associated with Variations initiated by the Client or initiated by the Contractor in accordance with Main Contract terms and contractual time bars.7. Be aware (and keep updated) of Main Contract terms for rights and obligations including amendments thereto.8. Check Monthly Interim Payment Applications to the Client, prepared by the QS team at Site.9. Maintain tracking logs for all Payments under Main Contract and for Vendors (if any). all in line with Head Office implemented formats.10. Assist the Contracts and Claims Manager at Site in negotiation of claims and variations with the Client’s agents. (e.g. prepare actual cost sheets for claimed variations).11. Assist the Contracts team in preparation of the prolongation costs associated with Extension of Time Claims to the Client.12. Assist the Commercial Manager in negotiation of variations with Subcontractors in line with the cost of claims approved by the Client; and in preparation of Variation Orders (VOs) to Subcontractors upon approval by Contracts and Commercial department at Head Office.13. Maintain tracking logs for claims and variations in coordination with the Contracts Manager at Site.14. Maintain live records of all commercial documents and correspondences to Suppliers and Subcontractors on daily basis (i.e. tracking logs) and secure dispatching in line with the workflow implemented.15. Ensure efficient communication and collaboration with all team key players for proper task delivery.Miscellaneous Duties:- Perform additional duties as needed to support the team and overall business objectives.Qualification: Bachelor’s DegreeCategory: Quantity Surveying or equivalentOther Requirements :- English Fluency and MS Office expertise; Fair experience in management of Subcontracts.- Gulf Region Experience; Experience in the Kingdom is an advantage.- Experience with Government entities in the Kingdom is an advantage.Years of Experience :7 – 8 years of relevant experience, out of which a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the position of Sr. Quantity Surveyor having handled the invoicing and variations for Infrastructure mega/multi projects.
