Job Description

Job Responsibilities:Support the procurement of various goods or services or fabrics or raw materials as per organizational needsCoordinate with internal stakeholders to collect and understand specifications and timelines.Prepare and process purchase requisitions and purchase ordersLiaise with vendors for quotations, negotiation, and order confirmationsMonitor supplier performance and ensure timely delivery of materialsMaintain procurement trackers, documentation, and reportsCoordinate with the production, logistics, and inventory teams for order processing and delivery follow-upAssist in resolving procurement-related issues including delays, quality concerns, or policy complianceParticipate in vendor development and market research activitiesSafeguarding Responsibilities:Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the program's goals on safeguarding implementationAct as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environmentPractice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of actionFollow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do soQualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree from a reputed university, preferably in Engineering/Supply Chain/Operations Management/TextileExperience:Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Retail Store, Garments, Supply Chain, E-commerceExperience in the textile or fabric will be considered an added advantagePreferred Qualifications:Experience in vendor sourcing from international marketsKnowledge about Local & International procurement procedureWell versed in procurement softwareSalary and Benefits:Salary: as per company policyOther benefits: Provident Fund, Gratuity, Festival Bonus, Health & Life Insurance, etcJob Location: DhakaApplication Deadline: November 3, 2025BRAC believes that everyone we work with including our staff, programme participants, partners, and the communities have the right to be protected from all forms of harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA).
