Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Asia) Limited (“ICBC (Asia)”) is the flagship of overseas business of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited (“ICBC”) – currently the largest commercial bank in China, and it is one of the domestic systemically important banks (D-SIBs) in Hong Kong. Currently, ICBC (Asia) has 52 retail outlets (including 27 “Elite Club” Wealth Management Centres) in Hong Kong. It is engaged in commercial banking, investment banking and other financial services, including those of securities, insurance and funds, with a focus on commercial and retail banking as well as global market business.

Chinese Mercantile Bank and ICBC Asset Management (Global) Company Limited, two wholly-owned subsidiaries of ICBC (Asia), specialize in Renminbi services in mainland China and ICBC’s global asset management business respectively. As a key member of our Public Relations team—Charitable Foundation & Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), the successful candidate will lead the execution and coordination of the bank’s CSR programmes and charitable foundation’s funding projects. This role combines project management, strategic communication, and stakeholder engagement to amplify the bank and its charitable foundation’s social impact.

Job Responsibilities Project Management for Charitable Initiatives:Identify social needs and collaborate with NGO partners to design, evaluate, and implement impactful funding projects. Manage end-to-end processes, including due diligence, funding application reviews, board proposal preparation, and post-funding impact assessments. Support the planning and execution of community and volunteering events. Strategic Communication and Publicity:Devise publicity plan related to CSR programmes and funding projects promoting the sustainability effort of our Bank and its charitable foundation. Write and review a full spectrum of communication materials including proposal, press releases, articles, speeches, interview scripts and internal reports etc.

Operational and Research Support:Assist in the daily operations of the charitable foundation, including reporting and compliance. Conduct research on emerging best practices in philanthropy and opportunities for strategic partnerships. Requirements Degree holder or above in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Advertising, Social Work or related disciplines. Preferably with experience in public relations and corporate communications for a sizable organization, or with prior experience in charity and NGOs sector. Good command of written English and Chinese. Fluent in Putonghua and Cantonese speaking. Familiar with social issues and current affairs, with a strong business acumen and analytical skills.

Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Proactive, responsible, and collaborative team player.
