We are seeking a highly motivated and curious individual to join our Commercial team as a Management Trainee specializing in Cocoa Bean Procurement. This role offers hands-on exposure to research and deep dive into the Cocoa trading market, planning, and execution of Beans procurement, deep understanding of trading activities, manufacturing capabilities and sales demand and forecast trends and impactWhat You’ll DoProcurement Managing procurement strategies for allocated buying unit. Managing relationship with allocated suppliers. Establishing a procurement strategy for a specific unit or region. Daily communication with industry players to gather market information and understand the cocoa buying prices in the market. Quality understanding and procurement strategy. Supplier Contract management to ensure zero defaults Understanding of crop arrivals and seasonality to make buying decisions Participating in weekly global market call and giving update about Indonesia market Establishing traceability for EUDR compliance of cocoa beansStakeholder management Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth flow of business. Aligning with Sustainability team in achieving common objective of ofi cocoa for specific region or unit. Having established relationship with all warehouse landlords to ensure continued warehousing needs at appropriate ratesSystems and procedures Keep control on operations and operational losses. Making dashboards on procurement and business-related matters for better management view and decision makingAdopting improvised systems and procedures to enhance existing business model.
