Celebrating Long Service provides an opportunity for the business to demonstrate their appreciation of the hard work, dedication and many years’ services of our employees at 5-year service milestones ActivitesThe Oilfield analytical chemist work in the Surface Technical department and would be involved in day-to-day operations in supporting laboratory operations management, daily crude oil quality monitoring, produced water quality and maintain injection water quality & instruments calibration activities and follow-up. Duties include but are not limited to supporting the surface technical and operations department in the management of process and laboratory operations production chemicals, QA/QC. Under general supervision, manage the oilfield laboratory crude oil analysis, produced water analysis, scale analysis, lube oil analysis, production chemical quality control analysis and coordination with third party lab testing agencies. FTIR analysis of production chemicals fingerprint QA/QC Manage and maintain a laboratory chemical inventory system that supports objectives in production, general facility operations, and environmental regulatory reporting. Perform daily or periodical lab instruments calibration and maintain the calibration records. Able to perform crude oil analysis (Salt, BS&W, water content, Sulphur, RVP, H2S, asphaltene, viscosity, API gravity, density) Arrange and communicate round robin sampling and analysis of crude oil quality with various contractors and lab facilities. Perform scale/sludge analysis, SRB bacteria analysis and reporting to operations Track chemicals from receipt at respective facility through distribution, storage, use and disposal. Provide reports from the chemical tracking database for WQ1, operation managers and environmental, safety and health personnel. Develop weekly monthly and annual reports on laboratory chemicals and consumables and future requirement projections. Able to perform gas compositional Analysis. Asphaltene and Wax monitoring in wells Able to perform water analysis (pH, oil in water, TSS,TDS, Ion Composition, Scaling Tendencies) EOR Fluid Compatibility Studies for field development activities Reporting & Communication: Prepare comprehensive technical reports and presentations summarizing findings, conclusions. Technical Support on fluid-related issues such as flow assurance (wax, asphaltene, hydrate risks), surface facility design, and reservoir performance. Sample Coordination: Coordinate and ensure proper procedures for the acquisition, handling, and transportation of downhole and surface fluid samples. QualificationsWhat makes you remarkable? Willing to work in oilfield 30-40% time in field. Skills Good English speaking and writing skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with appropriate guidance, Able to prioritize multiple tasks Demonstrate critical analytical and strong written and verbal communication skills Interpersonal skills Good computer skills including soft skills on Microsoft office, experience and Maximo preferred.
