Oko West - Electrical Engineering Services Lead

Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Electrical Engineering Services Lead to join our team in Guyana at the Oko West Mine Site.Lead and coordinate all electrical engineering activities for the Oko West Project, ensuring that construction, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems meet project specifications and safety standards.Provide technical guidance to contractors and site teams, reviewing electrical designs, drawings, and work procedures to ensure compliance with engineering and regulatory requirements.Oversee testing, inspections, and quality assurance processes for electrical equipment and installations, ensuring timely resolution of deficiencies.Collaborate with construction, operations, and project management teams to support project planning, scheduling, and progress reporting related to electrical systems.RequirementsMinimum education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and/or relevant experience in the construction mining industry.Relevant experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering for gold mining construction projects.Additional skills: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, substations, instrumentation, and commissioning; ability to interpret engineering drawings and manage contractors; strong communication, leadership, and troubleshooting abilities.Salary Range: Negotiable.Employment Type: Temporary contract for the duration of the construction.Working Hours: Rotation schedule: 23 of work followed by 19 days off.Application DetailsApplication Deadline: December 8th, 2025Interested people are invited to submit a CV/resume and a cover letter to the contact listed above.*This position is open to both local and international candidates.
