We are currently seeking candidates who are up for the challenge of operating in a high-growth, purpose-driven organisation.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Oligonucleotide Chemist to join our innovative research team in Lystrup, Denmark. In this role, you will be responsible for the synthesis, modification, and analysis of oligonucleotides for various applications in therapeutics and diagnostics.Design and synthesise custom oligonucleotides using automated synthesisers and manual techniquesDevelop and optimise methods for oligonucleotide modification and conjugationDevelop and optimise purification methods for various modified oligonucleotides and conjugates. Perform analytical characterisation of oligonucleotides using HPLC, mass spectrometry, and other relevant techniquesTroubleshoot synthesis and purification processes to improve yield and qualityCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support research and development projectsMaintain accurate records of experiments and results in accordance with laboratory protocolsContribute to the development of new oligonucleotide-based technologies and applicationsEnsure compliance with safety regulations and quality control standardsPrepare technical reports and present findings to internal and external stakeholdersQualificationsMasters degree in chemistry or a relevant field plus industrial experience.
