To learn more, please see our Why Work Here blog post. About The RoleYou will be heading the Finance team, the HR team, and the Corporate Operations team. You will report to the Country Director and will manage a growing team spread across Kinshasa and our field locations. You will sit within the country leadership team. ResponsibilitiesFinance (40%): You will manage the annual budget setting process across the country, working closely with division and department leads.

You will lead the BVA process, holding budget and team leads accountable for their BVA responsibilities and overall budgetsYou will advise teams on how to best manage their budgetYou will advise the Country Director on financial management and build financial models to assess new program opportunitiesYou will oversee financial reconciliation processes and external reporting obligationsPeople (40%)You will oversee the implementation of One Acre Fund’s People & Culture function, with responsibility across key areas including recruitment, performance management, compensation and benefits, staff retention, wellness, employee engagement, and alignment with the organization’s mission and valuesYou will work with your team to ensure the program's compliance with DRC labour laws.

You will lead innovation and execution in talent planning, succession assessments, and organisational design. Corporate Operations (20%)You will oversee the management of the program's assets (cars, office, guesthouses) both in Kinshasa and in the fieldYou will put in place initiatives to support the well-being of staff across all our DRC locationsCareer Growth and DevelopmentWe have a strong culture of constant learning and we invest in developing our people. For this role specifically, you will have: 5+ years of relevant professional experience3+ years of experience leading business administration teams or in consultingUniversity degree in Finance, Business Administration, or other relevant fieldTeam management with diverse multi-disciplinary teamsProficient English knowledge:

Independent French knowledge: You can deal with most situations likely to arise whilst travelling in an area where the language is spoken.
