Candidate should be result-oriented and have sound knowledge on IFRS and experience in Financial sector.
Should like to work on multiple tasks and can pro-actively manage multiple stakeholders in various countriesFunctionalOversight of the month end ledger closing process, including the review of one-off journal entries and adjustmentsReview of HO reporting schedules, ensuring proper reporting in accordance with GSG Group’s policies and procedures, accounting and regulatory frameworks, for timely submission of schedules, financial statement and consolidation.
Ensure compliance with the minimum standards for financial and regulatory reportingProvide advice on accounting treatment to various stakeholdersPreparation of audited standalone and consolidated financial statements in accordance with financial reporting standardsEvaluate existing processes and develop or recommend modifications or new processes as necessary. Lead automation of financial reporting, support data quality improvement initiatives and investigation. Service management of outsourced service providersParticipate in ad-hoc assignments as requiredJOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum QualificationsAt least 10 years of experience working in accounting, preferably with audit background in Big4.
A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent professional qualification in accounting and Certified Public Accountant/Chartered Accountant/Certified Management AccountantExcellent knowledge of local and international financial reporting standards and understand latest technical issues and their implicationscommunicate clearly and effectively with stakeholdersPositive “can-do” attitude and attention to detailAble to independently resolve issuesWorking Days: Onsite5. 5 days
