About the Role: We are looking for a mid-level Business Analyst with 5–6 years of experience to support the delivery of digital initiatives for our government clients. This role requires strong analytical thinking, effective stakeholder engagement, and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with government stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirementsAnalyse current processes, identify gaps, and propose improvement opportunitiesCreate user stories, functional specifications, and support solution design activitiesCollaborate with technical teams to ensure requirements are well understood and implementedFacilitate workshops, presentations, and demonstrations for both business and technical audiencesSupport test planning and acceptance criteria developmentRequired Skills & Experience:
5–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT or digital transformation projectsStrong experience in stakeholder engagement and requirements elicitationProficient in business process modelling and documentation standardsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAustralian Citizenship is mandatoryEligible for or already holding a national security clearanceMust be willing to travel to Canberra 2-3 times per yearExperience working on mobile apps or biometric/facial recognition technologiesBackground in government or regulated environmentsExposure to Agile delivery practices
