It’s not easy, but Onshape has figured it out.Onshape Program ManagementPTC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to oversee daily operations related to Onshape sales in Japan. This role is responsible for monitoring team activities, tracking performance against goals, and supporting strategic initiatives to grow Onshape’s presence in the Japanese market. The ideal candidate will coordinate closely with marketing and cross-functional teams to identify new business opportunities, streamline operations, and ensure alignment with global strategies. While a strong technical background is not required, familiarity with CAD or experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.This role reports to the Japan Head of Channels and will collaborate regularly with global headquarters.Duties and ResponsibilitiesRapidly learn the appropriate industries, Onshape solutions, and the benefits of the CAD, PDM Cloud model.Utilize SalesForce.com for lead management, sales forecasting, and recording of key sales activities.Oversee day-to-day operations of the Onshape sales team in JapanMonitor team activities and assess performance against KPIsSupport strategic planning and execution of growth initiativesIdentify and evaluate new business opportunities in the Japanese marketCoordinate with marketing and cross-functional teams to align campaigns and messagingFacilitate communication between Japan-based teams and global headquartersEnsure operational efficiency and adherence to company proceduresConduct all business ethically and in line with company guidelinesExperience3–4 years of experience in sales operations, business development, or related rolesExperience in the software or manufacturing industry preferredFamiliarity with CAD tools is a plus, but not requiredExperience working in cross-functional and multicultural environmentsProfileFluent in Japanese and business level English requiredDemonstrates analytical skills and financial acumenStrong communication and presentation skillsEnthusiastic, hard working with a mature attitudeAbility to operate in constant changing environmentAbility to stay organized and focused even when under pressureMust be strongly self-motivated, flexible and proactiveAble to learn technical product information and articulate the value of the solutions for a customer and the positive business impact to them.Based in Tokyo or willing to relocate
