Role Overview We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable Onsite Support Engineer to provide technical support across our customer base in Dublin and Galway. In this role, you will be the key onsite representative of the company, handling installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software systems. You'll work both independently and as part of our wider support team, delivering a consistently high standard of service. Key Responsibilities Install and configure desktops, servers, and networking hardware Perform onsite troubleshooting and equipment repairs where possible Provide hands-on support in data centers and server environments Respond to and resolve user support requests in person and remotely Travel between client sites in Dublin, Galway, and occasionally across the UK for project work Maintain detailed records of support requests and outcomes using internal ticketing systems What We're Looking For We value engineers who are: Enthusiastic: Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service Adaptable: Able to work across diverse projects and customer environments Quick Learners: Able to rapidly absorb new tools, systems, and processes People-Oriented: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively Skills & Experience Essential: 1-2 years of experience in an IT support role Strong knowledge of PC, laptop, and server hardware Practical experience with: Windows Server 2008/2012 Microsoft Office suite Networking & Active Directory Desktop operating systems (Windows 7, 8, 10; macOS) Apple/MAC devices, Citrix environments Desirable: Industry certifications such as MCP, MCITP, A+, CCENT Experience in working within data center environments Exposure to ticketing systems and ITIL frameworks Education: Bachelor's or Associate Degree in a relevant IT or Engineering discipline Additional Requirements Full driving license (required for travel between sites) Right to work in Ireland and the UK Flexibility to travel and work occasional extended hours during project rollouts What We Offer Supportive and collaborative working environment Opportunities for professional development and certification Competitive salary and benefits package A vibrant team culture with a strong focus on employee well-being
