Mid-Weight Video Editor

As we grow our in-house learning and development initiatives, we are building a high-quality media team to produce engaging, informative, and visually compelling content for internal training and communication. We are looking for a talented Mid-Weight Video Editor to help bring our new Learning & Development series to life. This role goes beyond editing, you will be deeply involved in shooting original content, creating custom motion graphics, and shaping the visual language of our educational media.

You'll work alongside creative and educational leads to produce explainer videos, internal tutorials, and engaging multimedia assets that help make complex ideas easy to understand. Your responsibilities would include: Editing a range of video content for internal learning - primarily explainer-style videos with a strong focus on clarity, pacing, and narrative structureDesign and animation of supporting motion graphics and visual assets (charts, animated titles, transitions, etc.

) using After EffectsWork closely with the Learning and Development team to translate training goals into visual concepts that enhance understanding and retentionApply best practices for audio syncing, colour grading, and encoding/exporting video content for multi-platform deliveryMaintain consistency in branding, tone, and visual standards across all contentRequirements3+ years of professional experience in video editing and production, preferably within an internal communications, education, or corporate environmentExpert-level proficiency in:

Adobe Premiere Pro (cutting, structuring, audio)Adobe After Effects (2D motion graphics, lower thirds, kinetic typography)Media Encoder (exports, presets, batching)Strong storytelling and pacing instinctsBasic understanding of camera operation, lighting, and audio equipmentAbility to manage and prioritize multiple edits across a production pipelineA sharp eye for clean visuals and a deep appreciation for brand consistency Nice to have: Working knowledge of Final Cut Pro (FCP)Exposure to 3D Studio Max or other 3D animation toolsExperience building or contributing to internal learning platforms or microlearning modulesKnowledge of instructional design principles is a plus
