Hands-on technical skills in SQL and PythonPower BI, Reporting and Business Intelligence skillsWork with a growing business working with multiple business stakeholdersBusiness Intelligence AnalystPermanent role, own the BI areaHybrid role - must be able to work on-site in Melbourne's SE suburbs We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst who can deliver insightful, accurate, and timely reporting to support business functions like Finance, Marketing, and Operations. The ideal candidate will combine technical proficiency in data tools, SQL and Python along with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. What we’re looking for:

Skills & AttributesAnalytical mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilityHands-on Technical Development skills (Python, SQL, & good to have DAX experience)Strong time management and attention to detailDemonstrated initiative and drive for resultsEffective communicator who can provide insights to senior stakeholders especially FinanceTeam-oriented and customer-focusedDesire to learn and improve systems continuouslyExperience & QualificationsTertiary qualification in Information Technology, Data Science or FinanceStrong Technical Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Power BI (essential)Experience with Jedox Financial planning & modelling tool (highly advantageous), Oracle NetSuite (preferable), and TASK POS (or other Point Of Sale systems)Familiarity with data warehousing, ETL processes, and Power BI dashboard reportingExposure to Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) and tabular modelling desirableFinancial modelling and cause-effect analysis to support scenarios and forecastingCandidates must be eligible to work in Australia for this role and must be able to work on-site in the Chadstone / Glen Waverley / Mount Waverley / Oakleigh area Please contact us to find out more details and to see a full position description for this role.
