🌍 Operational Buyer (Direct Materials) – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing | Meppel (Hybrid)I’m supporting a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer in Meppel seeking an Operational Buyer (Direct Materials) to secure timely supply of raw and packaging materials for its production site. This role sits within a collaborative Supply Chain team covering purchasing, planning, logistics, and customer service.Key ResponsibilitiesManage purchase orders and ensure on-time material availability for manufacturing.Maintain strong supplier relationships and track delivery performance.Optimise stock levels, order frequencies, and safety stock.Keep purchasing master data accurate and up to date.Collaborate with Planning, Quality, and Warehouse teams to prevent production delays.RequirementsBachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Purchasing.Experience in operational buying or procurement within manufacturing.Skilled with ERP systems and confident analysing supply data.Strong communicator, detail-oriented, and proactive under pressure.Fluent in English (Dutch a plus).About Planet Pharma:Planet Pharma is an American parented Employment Business/Agency that provides global staffing services with its head-quarters in Chicago and our EMEA regional office located in Central London.
