With 18,000+ employees in more than 60 countries, we specialise in sustainable, efficient solutions that optimise production and reduce environmental impact.As our new Operational Buyer, you will be based at our office in Skanderborg, where you will join a dedicated team delivering sustainable project solutions. These projects typically run for 12 to 18 months. We primarily work on customer projects and have a close working relationship with Group Procurement.You will join our procurement team, which is part of the broader GEA project organisation. Here, you will be responsible for processing purchasing requisitions and purchase orders as well as following up on order confirmations. You will also be the first point of contact with vendors for daily operations.More Specifically, You WillClarify issues with requestors and suppliersCreate purchase orders in SAP for our suppliersFollow up on order confirmationsProvide feedback to our strategic buyersCommunicate with suppliers about demand, volume, and delivery timesHandle light negotiations, such as project discounts and local frame agreementsCoordinate indirect purchasingOnboard suppliers when it comes to the purchasing processYou may also support solving invoice matches that could not be processed by our colleagues in Finance and be responsible for tactical sourcing activities at local suppliers.Your Profile / QualificationsYou are analytical and possess good problem-solving skills, along with great attention to detail, which enables you to take ownership of your work. Additionally, you thrive in a team-oriented environment, are skilled at networking, and are comfortable handling negotiations with suppliers within the framework of our agreements.To Do So, We Imagine That You BringProven experience in project procurement in a manufacturing or engineering environment, preferably within the food and beverage industryA relevant procurement background or a technical background combined with procurement experienceExperience as an SAP key userKnowledge of international purchasing conditions and contract managementExcellent communication skills in Danish and English (spoken and written)Finally, you should live in proximity to our site in Skanderborg, as this will be your daily work location.Would you like to know more?
