Our engineers take real ownership from preparation to offshore delivery, and contribute directly to the quality and reliability of our solutions.Your RoleAs an Operations Engineer, you are responsible for the full technical preparation and smooth execution of offshore projects. From the office you translate engineering concepts into clear, executable plans; offshore you ensure these plans are carried out safely and efficiently.This role suits an engineer with 3–7 years of experience who enjoys alternating between office-based engineering, on-site leadership, and collaborative problem-solving. You act as the link between project management, engineering, and the operational teams.Key Responsibilities· Develop method statements, lift plans, and additional essential documentation for project execution.· Lead or support project execution offshore in roles such as Site Engineer or Site Lead.· Work as an Operations Engineer on site, ensuring the successful implementation of lifting solutions and marine operations.· Oversee the testing of new equipment at our yard locations or client sites.· Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure designs are optimized for practical application.· Identify operational risks and propose technically sound mitigation measures.· Provide technical expertise during project execution, ensuring safe and efficient operations.· Contribute to continuous improvement of methods, tools, and processes.What we are looking for· A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil) or a Maritime-related field (Naval Architect).· Minimum 3 years of relevant engineering or operational project experience.· Strong operational insight with a practical approach to engineering challenges.· Willingness to travel and to work offshore.· Strong practical insight you understand how engineering decisions translate offshore. Clear communicator who can align with multiple stakeholders. Comfortable working in changing environments and taking responsibility for outcomes. Fluency in English; proficiency in Dutch is a plus.· Hands-on, proactive attitude with a structured, team-oriented mindset.· Experience in offshore, lifting operations, or heavy industry is a plus (not required).
