Job DescriptionJefferies has been expanding its business in Tokyo, and we are now looking for a dedicated person in our Settlement team. Jefferies utilizes Fidessa as the front and middle office system and I-STAR as the back-office system.Qualification:Minimum 2 years of working experience at settlement team (product is Japan Equities) for Analyst level. Preferably settlement experience in both Japan domestic and offshore. Must be able to resolve multiple exceptions and queries through to resolution in a time-critical environment. Strong organizational and communication skillsAbility to expand learning across business and to grow with the organization. Strong PC skills, particularly Microsoft Office software. Fluent Japanese and Business level English. Job Description:Since core settlement is supported by Citibank as a vendor (Third Party Clearing), settlement team at Jefferies supports exceptions, fails, mismatch, unmatch, etc. Uses Citibank system (CDS), Broadridge system (Gloss) and I-STAR mainly. Communication is mainly done with Citibank, internal MO teams and client back office.
