Operations Administrator (New Business)

We're looking for 2 New Business Administrators!Annual salary + up to 10% bonusWhy this is a great opportunityJoin the team at ClearView in a role that’s brand‑new and purpose‑built for our Perth office for the first time, because we’re operating a follow‑the‑sun service model, you’ll play a key role in delivering premium service to our national customer base outside traditional hours in Sydney – this means you’ll make a real difference, operate at the pulse of the business and build exceptional experience in a fast‑paced environment.You'll have autonomy, trust and a hybrid work model, as we roll out our new small team in Perth!The role:This role is responsible for the processing of New Business applications and additional business for ClearView’s Life Insurance in accordance with Financial Services procedures and guidelines.What you’ll be doingPrimary ResponsibilitiesEnd‑to‑end administration of New Business applications while in proposal/underwriting.Focus on national completions after 5 pm AEST (2pm WA time) – you’re the star for out‑of‑hours service.Provide priority service and escalation handling for priority customers after 5 pm AEST.Liaise with Underwriters.Respond to internal and customer queries (in writing and via telephone).Meet all service standards and quality objectives.Follow up with external parties (e.g., medical professionals, internal teams) to obtain required further information for applications.Secondary ResponsibilitiesCreate ad‑hoc reports or tasks from management when required.Build and maintain strong internal & external relationships.General office administration and filing as part of the broader team support environment.Key external relationships Clients – policy owners & the insuredsUHG (United Health Group)Medical Industry administration and professionalsOther administrative external parties – such as external file storageKey Internal RelationshipTeam colleaguesManager, New BusinessUnderwritersDistribution TeamLife Product Manager / teamCall Centre(s) – Direct Sales AgentsClearView Systems SupportClaims OfficersFinanceQualifications and experience required: Administration experienceSpecific life insurance experience or financial services preferred, but this is not essential - we focus more on the right attitudeIndustry qualifications - Highly regardedExposure to corporate environments – preferredAttributes or Skills RequiredCustomer Service OrientationPrioritisation and organisational skillsRelationship building & communication skills (internal / external)Attention to detailComplaint resolution skillsBasic Project Management SkillsInsurance industry systems experienceMicrosoft Office ExperienceWhy Us?
