Our products and services include advisory, financing, prime services, research and analysis, securities services, trading and sales and transaction banking.We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Operations Assistant, Wholesale Client and Account Servicing (WCAS)Key Responsibilities Assist in the operational activities of the department so as to maximize the efficiency, effectiveness and productivity of the department. Ensure that the service level (SLAs) with the businesses are consistently met and that customer service levels are of a continuously high standard.Work in liaison with related parties in the aspect of operations related matters. Co-ordinate and ensure customer’s complaints and feedback are investigated, addressed and reported to the related parties.Training, learning and growth in knowledge of one’s job scope. Training others on her/his desk duties. Learning through feedback from surveys, peers and experiences. Attend training from both external and internal parties on PC skills, creative thinking skills and personal development and subsequently applications of concepts and theories learnt in the workplace.Assist in maintaining costs within budget through providing suggestions on cost savings initiatives, work process improvements and avoiding operation losses.The jobholder is guided in procedural matters and must ensure compliance with the relevant Financial Instruction Manual (FIM)/Business Instruction Manual (BIM)/Desk Instruction Book (DIB), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), operations manuals, audit requirements, etc. She/he must also ensure that activities are carried out in accordance with the regulations of the SBV, HKMA and other relevant statutory regulations.The jobholder is expected to carry out day to day OPS processing/operational activities/ duties to their best abilities as assigned by the supervisor.Maintain HSBC control standards and follow Group Compliance Policy to minimize operational risk by:Remaining compliant with and ensures awareness of Audit and Group requirements and other internal guidelines.Ensuring strict compliance with government banking regulations.Timely implementing internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.
